Letoon

The federal sanctuary of the Lycian League, founded in the 6th century BC and dedicated to Leto and her children Apollo and Artemis. Three temples stand beside a spring-fed pool, and a trilingual inscription found here — Lycian, Greek and Aramaic — helped decipher the lost Lycian language. Listed with Xanthos on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 1988.
