Kalkan

Once a small Greek fishing village called Kalamaki, settled some 150–200 years ago by traders from the nearby island of Meis. Its horseshoe harbour was long the only safe anchorage between Fethiye and Kaş, and camel caravans once carried silk, olive oil, timber and sesame down from the mountains to be shipped from here.
