The Lycian Way
Climb from town to Bezirgan on the old road across the plateau.
The Lycian Way runs 500km along the coast from Fethiye to Antalya, and the stretch out of Kalkan is one of its most rewarding — an old trading route climbing from the town up to the Bezirgan plateau, through pine forest and past centuries-old cisterns.
It's walkable in either short sections or as a longer day route, and it's at its best in spring and autumn, outside the summer heat.
