Lycia in one day
Xanthos, Letoon and Patara in a single loop inland from the coast.
A single inland loop takes in three of Lycia's most important sites: Xanthos, the League's largest city and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988; Letoon, the shared religious sanctuary where the trilingual inscription that unlocked the Lycian language was found; and Patara, the League's capital, with its 18-kilometre beach and the world's oldest known parliament building.
All three sit within roughly half an hour of one another, and about 20–30 minutes from Kalkan — a full but unrushed day if you start in the morning.
